The Park Ridge attorney was named to the dean’s advisory board at Loyola

• Park Ridge resident Jim Argiones, a member of the commercial litigation firm Cozen O’Connor, has been appointed to serve for three years on the Dean’s Advisory Board in the College of Arts and Sciences at Loyola University Chicago.

The DAC consists of Loyola University Chicago alumni and their friends who provide advice and feedback to the Dean, support college initiatives designed to enhance the quality and reputation of the College of Arts and Sciences, and participate in programs and events, including student mentoring and work. As ambassadors for the dean and advocates for the college.

Argiones, who earned his BA and law degrees from Loyola University Chicago, brings extensive experience and an impressive record of success as a Cozen O’Connor commercial trial attorney.

He also distinguished himself through his community service efforts. In 2022 he was awarded the Medal of Sgt. The Karen Lader Memorial Award is a Good Citizen of Maine, and in 2019, Park Ridge honored him with a Community Star Award from the Chamber of Commerce.

In addition, Argiones is the longtime chair of the Illinois Department of Employment Security Advisory Board and previously served as chair of the Park Ridge Planning and Zoning Commission and its O’Hare Airport Commission.

• Bryce T. Hensley, a Mundelein native, has been named a partner at Romanucci & Blandin, LLC, a national personal injury law firm based in Chicago.

Hensley helps manage the company’s complex litigation portfolio, representing individuals and classes of victims of toxic exposure, product defects, civil rights violations, motor vehicle accidents and other catastrophic personal injury and wrongful death.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013, and his JD with first class honors from Chicago-Kent College of Law in 2017.

He also received a Mass-Tort MDL from Duke University School of Law’s Polish Judicial Institute in 2020.

• Arlington Heights-based Navigant Law Group, LLC has appointed Angie Hansen as Chief Navigation Officer to oversee the firm’s support staff and direct opportunities for business growth.

• Endocrinologist Dr. Amara Aziz joined the medical group at Northwest Community Healthcare, seeing patients at 5999 New Wilke Road in Rolling Meadows and 1051 W. Rand Road in Arlington Heights.

Dr. Aziz graduated from the Aga Khan University College of Medicine, Karachi, Pakistan. She completed her residency in internal medicine at St. Francis Hospital and her fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Oklahoma Health Center.

She was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Department of Endocrinology, at Indiana University College of Medicine for four years.

Dr. Aziz is board certified in Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. She is a certified clinical densitometry specialist. She is also fluent in Urdu in addition to English.
