Middle Twp, NJ – One person was killed in a motorcycle accident on Route 9 near Church St

Sources say the accident occurred near Route 9 and Church Street. Police arrived at the scene to find a motorcycle had collided with an SUV. The 24-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

A 23-year-old female passenger, also from North Cape May, was taken to the Cape Regional Medical Center to receive treatment for injuries she sustained in the crash.

At this time, their identities have not been released to the public. No one in the SUV was injured. The police in the middle town along with the fatal accident and major crime units continue to investigate the details of the accident.
