An 18-year-old scooter rider has died after being hit by an MTA bus in Jamaica, Queens.
Jamaica, Queens (September 3, 2023) A man riding a motorcycle has tragically died in a collision with an MTA bus along 89th Street in Jamaica, Queens.
New York City police officials say the collision occurred Monday night. An 18-year-old man was traveling north on 168th Street when he was hit by the Q20 MTA bus.
It appears that the bus was empty at the time of the collision. Firefighters and paramedics were called to the scene to assist the victim.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries, where he was pronounced dead. The full investigation is still ongoing at this time.
