Ben Township, Pennsylvania – A woman dies and several people are injured in a SR322 accident

Penn Township, Pennsylvania (August 26, 2023) – A crash in Lancaster County, on Tuesday, claimed the life of a woman and injured several others.

The accident occurred on West Section 28 Freeway (SR 322) in Pennsylvania Township, near the county’s border with Lebanon, at about 2:30 p.m., according to North Lancaster Regional Police.

A car, commercial truck and trailer were involved in the accident. According to initial reports, forensic investigators found a 41-year-old woman, who was later declared dead at the scene, in the front passenger seat of one of the vehicles. Multiple traumatic injuries were ruled the cause of death.

The other injured victims were taken to a local hospital, though their current condition is unknown. Officers are continuing to investigate the incident in the meantime.
