DuPage CASA Celebrates 30 Years of Advocating for Children at the “Pearl Gala” on October 21

CASA in County DuPage is celebrating 30 years of advocating for children by hosting its annual “Pearl Anniversary” gala, on Saturday 21 October, at the Sheraton Hotel in Lisle.

Guests will enjoy inspiring stories, unique auction items, fun activities, live music, dancing and quality time with friends – all while raising much needed money for children who have been removed from unsafe homes due to abuse and neglect.

CASA Board Members and Gala Committee Co-Chairs Veronica Corirossi and Katie May Yoder welcome guests to an unforgettable evening as CASA Friends will come together with the goal of raising $250,000 for abused, neglected or vulnerable children in the DuPage County juvenile court system.

Veronica and Katie shared, “On behalf of the Gala Committee, we welcome everyone to an evening of magic and magic as we share historic moments, honor old friends, and celebrate our successes over the past 30 years.”

CASA of DuPage County would like to extend special thanks to the sponsors of the 30th Anniversary Pearl Gala: The FT Cares Foundation; Cogan & Power; estate planning law group; Matheson, Moskie, Austin & Company; Schiller, Ducanto and Flake; black diamond charts; Black Pearl Consulting; Porter Heating and Air Conditioning; Capstone Financial Advisors; Charles Schwab; Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick, and Mirabella; and Wheaton Bank & Trust.

“For 30 years, in partnership with the DuPage County Court System, DuPage CASA has made a profound difference in the lives of more than 3,000 children who have been abused or neglected,” says Susan Skala, Executive Director of CASA.

“We attribute our success to the overwhelming generosity of the DuPage community, which allows CASA to provide every child removed from their unsafe home, a volunteer advocate to be a grounded, stable adult in their life,” said Scala. “Thank you for being a part of our journey and helping celebrate this milestone!”
